Quote of the week: "You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along' . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do." - Eleanor Roosevelt

Baseball spring training in Arizona

As people gather from around the country to participate in spring training fever, Scottsdale comes alive with a bunch of exhibition games, charity fun events, great deals on cheap tickets, and nonstop parties. Join us in celebrating the games of Major League Baseball annual and interactive activities for spring training.

Although the ritual of spring training began again in late 1800, this year marks a new beginning for some Cactus League. For starters, the fifteen teams in the American League and National involved in training Arizona will now be exclusively in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies are leaving Tucson to share the new stadium for $ 100 million in spring training Talking Stick. These new facilities are impressive in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale's eastern border - spring training phoenix arizona.

The smaller stadiums now allow viewers a closer connection with the action on the field and on the bench and during practice sessions - which is unheard of for the rest of the year. Spectators and fans will relish the opportunity to get autographs from their favorite players and I hope to catch a fly ball in the sunshine.

After experiencing all the excitement and other fun stuff throughout the day, be sure not to "surrender" before its time. The crowd of visitors to Scottsdale during this time of year, creates an energy in the atmosphere that is contagious. The scene after the sun attracts all fun lovers and party goers to many various night spots in the area. There are restaurants (for everyone), clubs, lounges, bars, clubs and more. You will find entertainment happening throughout the city. The remarkable spring weather helps keep things moving in and out, long after dark. To begin, you may want to leave the W Hotel Scottsdale Camelback located across the street, and take part in its nightlife and parties. Who knows, you might find yourself in the middle of a league match of improvisation.

This year, staying close to the action will be a little easier thanks to direct access to the new stadium. Because of its proximity to the luxury resorts in Scottsdale, restaurants, nightclubs and shopping centers, it seems that this area become a popular meeting place for everyone - especially for residents of the communities of Scottsdale home luxury. With exciting games of spring training, the launch at the start of another season of fun-filled spring in Arizona.

Featured Product
LUNA Moons

I recently tried the new LUNA Moons on a group ride.  Right away I noticed the size of the package and how easily it fit in the back pocket of my jersey.  The pack of  pomegranate Moons I tried were a modest 100 calories and 6 to a pack, which equals 1 serving.

Moons are smaller and easier to handle than their Shot Blox kin. They have a nice - sweet but not not too sweet - fruity punch and a firm texture that made my mouth happy.  I followed them with some water and set out for a 30-mile ride. At the half-way mark, I finished the pack.  I found that one pack of Moons helped me maintain enough energy for a leisurely ride.  It’s also pretty cool that Moons contain Vitamin C and that they gel with pectin rather than gelatin. Moons currently come in three flavors: pomegranate, blueberry and watermelon and sell for only $1.29 at your local bike shop!
